Our Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils

We carry a small selection of therapeutic grade essential oils which we have found to be highly effective for select problems. Therapeutic grade is superior to the grade of oils you find in most health food stores. Some benefits of the various oils are listed below.

Bio-ForceField Protection Essential Oil Blend
10 ml, $17.00

This is an incredible blend which is almost anti-everything -- antiviral, antibacterial -- but especially anti-rhinovirus. If I'm unable to defeat an incipient cold within the first 6 -12 hours, I break out the BFFP for the heavy lifting. It never disappoints

Bio-ForceField Protection, 10ml, $17.00

Camphor Essential Oil
10 ml, $8.00

Camphor is both a pain reliever and healing. Not appropriate for sensitive skin, but suitable for oily skin and acne, on which it has a clearing effect and also stimulates the metabolism. It should never be applied to skin undiluted and should never be taken internally. It's excellent for bruises, the pain of gout, healing of wounds, burns and abscesses. One of our customers uses the camphor granules in a vaporizer to clear and clean the air and surfaces of their home as a remedy against mold. You could use the oil in an essential oil diffuser to accomplish the same thing.

Clove Essential Oil
10 ml $8.00

Clove is antibacterial, antiseptic, and analgesic oil so is good to have on hand for a variety of uses. Most people know it's good for tooth aches, and where there's infection it can also start the healing process. It's also anti-inflammatory. While Clove should not be used undiluted on regular skin, you can dilute it in a few drops of good quality vegetable oil (olive, almond, etc.) and apply. Another method of application is the soles of the feet, which have fewer nerve endings and are "tougher." Can be used on warts, callouses, infected wounds, insect stings.

Eucalyptus Essential Oil
10 ml, $9.00

Refreshing, energizing, a wonderful treat with Lemon E.O. for your bath water. Antiseptic, antiviral, antibacterial, expctorant, antispasmodic, and one of the best remedies for the respiratory tract. It helps dry up phlegm, and combat sinusitis. Useful in lowering fevers used in a sponge bath. Inhale or diffuse for respiratory issues or just to clear the mind and provide a breath of fresh air. Dilute in oil to rub on chest or back

Lavender Essential Oil
10 ml, $10.00
Ah, lavender oil. This one happens to be Hungarian and has what I consider a robust and romantic character, though still quite definitely lavender-ish. Lavender oil is the very best remedy I know of for kitchen burns. It takes the pain away in minutes if not seconds and prevents blisters. Lavender is also a natural antibiotic, antiseptic, antidepressant, sedative, detoxifier and promotes healing and prevents scarring. It is THE must-have-for-almost-any-skin-problem remedy. You need this in your home. Once you try it for burns, you'll believe in miracles if you didn't before.

Lemon Essential Oil
10 ml, $8.00

Antibacterial and antiseptic, and can be used as a water purifier. A drop or two in your drinking water will also help stimulate the lymph and digestive systems. My favorite (though least romantic) use for Lemon EO is a drop or two directly on grease stains on clothing as I put them in the washing machine. Also good for oily skin, reducing sebacious production and cleaning and tightening the skin. (Don't forget to dilute in oil before use on delicate skin!)

Peppermint Essential Oil
10 ml, $8.00
A drop or two on the head dispenses with many headaches including migraines, and a drop or two on the abdomen dispenses with gas, indigestion, bloating and other digestion issues. Peppermint is also energizing and uplifting. Anti-inflammatory and antiseptic too. Excellent for oily skin, acne and blackheads and can be applied undiluted to pimples. Also good for itchy skin, infections and dandruff and is quite refreshing added to shampoo. For sunburn or other skin problems, try 6 parts lavender to 4 parts peppermint for a healing bath.

Tea Tree Essential Oil
10 ml, $9.50

Antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal and safe for use on skin for these and other problems. Good against candida, acne, ringworm, athlete's foot, toothache, gum disease (add a drop or two on top of your toothpaste), etc. Another must-have oil for you and your family. Some users insist it promotes healing. Ca be used for acne and applied undiluted to pimples. Good in shampoos -- helps prevent lice! -- because it has a stimulating effect on the scalp and thus is cleansing and clearing. "Absolutely non-toxic" says one author.
